Terms and conditions

‘We’ and ‘Our’ shall be refer to Pelami HCS Ltd

‘Staff’ shall be the person within a transport run, that makes the booking for her/himself, and responsible for their own transport booking

‘Office’ shall refer to the office contact of DHS Recruitment Ltd

Booking conditions

  • Staff bookings must be made through our website www.dhstransport.com
  • DHS Transport will provide written confirmation of the booking and your pick-up time in the form of a text message.
  • Staff bookings must be made until 18.00 (6pm) to the evening transport on the same day, and to the next day morning. After this time, if there is any booking made by the staff, we cannot guarantee that we can fulfil the reservation. The staff needs to call the office. If there is any change in this booking time, we will inform you in a text message before.

Pricing conditions

  • DHS Transport do not take payments from the passenger
  • Any payments taken are the responsibility of DHS Recruitment Ltd

Conditions for modifying a booking

  • Any amendments to staff bookings must be made no later than 18.00 prior to your evening transport on the day, and until 18.00 for the next day morning transport.

Cancellations

  • Cancellation – staff are entitled to cancel their booking through the online system no later than 18.00 prior to their evening transport on the day, and to the next day morning transport. Any cancellations after this time the staff must call the office, every occasion, in order to keep the information flow between DHS Transport and the office.
  • Forgotten cancellations or cancellations made after the last booking time (18.00) will be charged according to the DHS Recruitment Ltd terms.

Responsibilities

  • The staff is responsible for providing accurate information including an email, full address, and mobile telephone number. Any failure from DHS Transport to provide the agreed service due to incorrect information given by the staff will be deemed to be the responsibility of the staff and therefore the staff will be charged for the service according to DHS Recruitment Ltd terms.
  • Please ensure that you have received your pick-up time until 18.30 for the same day evening transport and for the next day morning transport. It is the staff’s responsibility to inform the office if the text message has not arrived.
  • The staffs should not disturb each other and the driver in concentration with loud noises, music and intense smells. We need to ensure the full safety during the transport, please avoid upsetting and inappropriate behaviour.
  • Pick-up time is the time, when the staff is sitting in the vehicle and the vehicle is ready to depart, please keep the pick-up times.
  • Please, keep the vehicles clean and tidy, do not consume any drink or food during transport. Keep our environment clean during transport.
  • Staff are not allowed to consume any alcohol whilst in the vehicle.
  • Smoking is strictly forbidden in any of our vehicles.
  • Any damage caused by the staff during the transport is the staff’s responsibility and will be charged for the repair/valet according to its invoices and DHS Recruitment Ltd terms.
  • DHS Transport refuses the right and delegates the right to its drivers, to refuse to carry any staff who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Any staff using threatening or abusive behaviour towards the driver or any other staff will be asked to leave the vehicle immediately.
  • Pick-up times issued by DHS Transport can be flexible, transport is calculated using normal conditions, however, because of risk of high-volume traffic, severe weather conditions… etc. delay or early pick-up can occur, usually all pick- ups fulfilled within 10 minutes difference.
  • The issued pick-up and drop-off locations must remain the same.
  • All booked transport will be charged according to DHS Recruitment Ltd terms.
  • We are always looking for the best option, the best practice, also the cost efficiency is one of the most important factors in our service.
  • We do not provide taxi or private hire services.
  • The staff should consider if the DHS Transport is the best option for their needs, please keep it in mind before booking the transport.
  • Our service is an agency service, not private service. The composed route has been prepared in favour of all staff involved in one transport run.
  • The staff starting their shifts, always have priority in aspect of transport, starting their shift in time is the most important criteria.
  • We are composing the routes for the highest cost-efficiency, and to carry the staff with minimum discomfort and via the quickest routes. However, due to circumstances beyond our control this may not be possible. This would include:
    • Accidents causing to delays to the vehicle
    • Vehicle breakdown
    • Vandalism
    • Exceptional or severe weather conditions
    • Compliance with police request
    • Road accidents
    • Unforeseen traffic delays
    • Industrial action by 3rd parties
    • Problems arising from other customers
    • Force Majeure (war, civil unrest, terrorism, acts of god, extreme weather conditions such as snow or ice wind etc.)
  • Using the transport is the staff’s responsibility, using the seatbelt is mandatory.
  • Early drop-off would be necessary to optimise the transport service, also to avoid being late. The staff is always informed by text message.
  • During the transport we record CCTV and audio in the vehicles in order to maintain high-quality service.
  • DHS Transport reserves the right to outsource/subcontract bookings to licensed companies. Please note that their Terms and Conditions might vary from that of DHS Transport.
